Made famous by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Vajazzling is the bejewelling of the female nether regions after a Brazilian/XXX wax using Swarovski crystals. The first instalment of this treatment would entail the obligatory wax of course.

Reactions from people regarding Vajazzling varies from amazement and excitement to disdain and bewilderment.  Representatives of the male opinion are definitely not opposed to the idea (shock horror), while females are sometimes more sceptical about the practicalities.

Questions naturally start rising to the surface:  What about hygiene?  Showering?  Going to the toilet?  Googling efforts on Vajazzling show a combination of pornographic images and J-Love’s coy interview with George Lopez on YouTube so there is not much there. But one thing is for sure, Vajazzling works, is fun and is here to stay!

Also, decorations “down there” are definitely not a new thing.  Piercings, tattoos, waxing… and now people are okay with wearing a diamante-encrusted pattern as well!

Vajazzling begins as expected, with the bearable discomfort of the wax (which is extremely thorough here at Essential Beauty!).

The crystal design is applied in one go with an adhesive, as if it were a fake tattoo.  The designs are many and varied so ask our staff for more details.

The adhesive is dermatologist-approved and specifically designed to be used after a Brazilian/XXX wax, when skin is at its most sensitive. You can choose from a selection of designs from Swarovski, or design your own – whether it be a word, pattern or someone special’s initials. 

The verdict for most is……. Very impressed.  Not only did you get a kick out of your secret bling, it makes the “view” so much nicer to look at.  All you need now is a second opinion!
