As we age, our skin sags. It becomes thinner as we produce less elastin and collagen. This is part of the ageing process. Also, continuous muscle contractions create wrinkles. Typically, these only appear when the muscle is used over time. If untreated, these wrinkles become static wrinkles meaning they have become a part of our face.
Through its team of Doctors and Nurses, Essential Beauty can reverse the signs of ageing and reduce wrinkles with cosmetic injectables (also known as anti-wrinkle injections).
Our medical team has over 50 years cumulative experience in cosmetic medicine procedures.
Essential Beauty has been offering injectables since 1995
The purpose of cosmetic injectables is to create a new, fresher you. It is about prevention of those deeper lines.
The injectable product relaxes the muscle which creates the wrinkle. Effectively, it cuts off the “signal” from the nerve to the muscle. The decreased movement of the muscle places less stress on the skin helping to create a younger looking you. With continued use, wrinkles become less prevalent creating a fresher look.
For your initial consultation you will see a doctor by Skype consultation, who will discuss your needs. After your requirements are assessed, the nurse who will be present with you, will fill out all relevant paperwork as well as take photographs and undertake the procedure as described above.
Anti-wrinkle injections are affordable, effective and quick in helping to reduce and prevent wrinkles, with almost instant results. Think about all of that money you spent on skin care creams to prevent wrinkles when you can do it in one easy sitting!
There are different products used depending on the area and the outcome you require. These include products that can volumise the lips, marionette lines around the mouth and smoker’s lines also around the lips. These folds can be filled to make them disappear.
Dermal Fillers are affordable, effective and quick in helping to fill those areas which anti-wrinkle injections cannot. The basic rule of thumb is, above the nose – use anti-wrinkle injections. Below the nose, use Dermal Fillers.
Usually after 3 to 4 days. Photographs are taken beforehand to illustrate the effectiveness of the procedure.
The injectable product is a purified protein which is able to temporarily cause facial muscles to relax. The product softens lines and wrinkles that are visible.
Instantly and it gets better over the following week to 4 weeks.
Dermal Fillers are made from Hyaluronic acid which is a natural sugar present in the human body. Having Dermal Fillers is an affordable way to restore fullness and volume all over the face.
Generally, any area, above the nose can be treated with anti-wrinkle injections including frown lines, crow’s feet and glabella lines (the skin between the eyebrows above the nose).
Any area below the nose can be treated with Dermal Fillers including the lips and areas around the mouth like marionette and smoker’s lines.
Usually 3-4 months.
From 1 to 2 years depending on what you have treated.
