If you are talking about a regular bikini wax the answer is yes. For XX and a XXX wax you can still leave your underwear on and work with the therapist to support the skin and remove all unwanted hair. The girls are very sympathetic and have been doing bikini waxing for a long time. If it helps, you may wish to call your local salon and ask for one of the more senior therapists.
Yes of course we can. Please come in and start the conversation with your therapist about the shape you would like. Please contact your local salon for more details.
Yes you can get waxed. What you have is very normal.

Yes you can. It is best to speak with your local salon first to confirm.
The short answer is yes, you can get a wax with current ingrown hairs.
The ingrown hairs problem, despite the use of products, requires a longer explanation.
There are different types of ingrown hairs. Some are just under the skin lying along the leg etc with no infection or congestion. A lot of people think that exfoliation is the best way to treat this. This is wrong too much exfoliation will increase the skin turn over and thicken the skin. This will make the problem worse.
More moisturising and less exfoliation is needed.
Shaving in between waxing will also cause this type of ingrown hair.
If you really need to have smooth legs for an occasion and you think the hairs are not long enough to be waxed. Pop in to a salon and ask the therapist to do a small test patch to see if the hairs are long enough to get picked up in the wax. Our strip wax is very efficient. It can pick up soft small facial hairs. You will be better off having a wax even with 2 weeks of hair growth than to shave. Shaving cuts the hair which makes it sharp when it comes through, causing ingrown hairs. Waxing will allow the hair to grow as it is naturally intended with a soft tapered end that will not cut into the skin. If you do not shave and still get ingrown hairs, you may be rubbing the hairs by wearing tight clothing.
Tight clothing has the same effect causing ingrown hairs just like shaving.
Now we come to ingrown hairs that are accompanied by an infection or blackhead. These types of ingrown hairs are very hard to combat as they are because the hair is genetically curly or too thick or has become distorted over time. This distortion / curly thick hair loses its way as it is traveling to the surface. As this starts deeper in the skin structure the body’s defence mechanism is alerted treating the hair like an enemy. Inflammation and infection will start.
This type of ingrown hair is usually found on bikini lines, under arms and facial areas and occasionally a few on the legs.
The best plan of for this type of ingrown hair is to stop hair growing from that area by IPL or laser.
An X bikini line is basically a tidy. We wax the sides called your panty line and across the top, so if you’re wearing a bikini this will prevent any hairs from peeking out.
A XX bikini wax removes hair from the front of the pubic bone leaving behind a small landing strip. We also remove hair from underneath and in-between your buttocks as well.
A Brazilian XXX wax removes all the hair from the front of the pubic bone, underneath and in between the buttocks as well.
It is best to avoid XX or XXX waxing during that time of the month. Other forms of waxing like leg waxing are fine.
It really depends on you, your needs and your hair. Waxing should be a luxurious experience so if you’re feeling apprehensive we can put you at ease by slowing your wax down and carefully explaining all you need to know for achieving smooth, hair-free skin which will increase your confidence at any age.
Please do not use moisturiser on the area you are waxing as some moisturisers can interfere with the wax. Also, wear loose clothing after your wax for a more comfortable post wax experience.
We recommend a minimum of ½ cm in length.
This is a very important question, there are some creams which affect your skins thickness such as steroid creams. It is best to check with your doctor first.
