Why would I choose to have anti-wrinkle injections?

  • You want to look younger and reduce the visible signs of ageing
  • You want to prevent current wrinkles and facial lines from getting deeper
  • You want to create a “new you” that looks more vibrant and fresh

Before you have anti-wrinkle injections – Do:

  • Make sure you understand what you are seeking before you come in
  • Be honest in disclosing all information about your present medical condition and any medications you are currently taking
  • Make sure you are hydrated and have eaten before the procedure
  • Ask questions about which products will be used, which are best suited for you
  • Choose a reputable salon such as ours!

Before your visit – Don’t:

  • Take aspirin or any other medications, Ibuprofen, St John’s wort or any other medications that may increase bruising
  • Do not drink alcohol before the procedure

During the procedure:

  • If it is your first visit to us, even if you have had anti-wrinkle injections before, you will still need to undertake a Skype consultation with our doctors who will ask a series of questions
  • Once the initial consultation has completed and all your questions have been answered, we will proceed to treatment
  • You will be asked to frown and the nurse injector will place a series of dots (which mark the areas that need treatment). In this way, the anti-wrinkle injections can target these specific areas
  • The area is cooled with the application of a small ice pack or similar
  • The areas marked are treated with the appropriate amount of product
  • You can relax by breathing deep and wiggling your toes if that helps

The treatment will finish once all marked areas have been treated.

The Do’s after the procedure:

  • Do receive your home care instructions from us and ask any questions at the time
  • Do follow your home care instructions carefully
  • Do remain hydrated even after the procedure as this is crucial for recovery
  • Do limit the amount of makeup you apply to your face over the next 24 hours

The Don’ts after the procedure:

  • Don’t touch the treated areas immediately after the procedure. Allow at least one day before any form of contact.
  • Don’t touch the area if any form of unevenness or bumps occur. Please contact us immediately
  • Don’t smoke cigarettes or any controlled substances directly after the procedure
  • Don’t perform any strenuous activities after the procedure
  • Don’t expose yourself to excessive heat
  • Don’t take fish oils as this contributes to bruising

What happens after my anti-wrinkle injections?

Please make sure you follow all of the home care guidelines. Thereafter, you can enjoy the benefits of your decision! You will need treatment every three months for the best results. Remember the anti-wrinkle injection process targets the softening and prevention of wrinkles, making you look fresh and feel your very best.

Why would I choose to have Dermal Fillers?

The purpose of Dermal Fillers is to create a new, fresher you. It is about volumizing those wrinkles and folds to create a younger look.

As we age, collagen and elastin production reduce. This can give us a tired, “washed out” look. Whilst wrinkles require anti-wrinkle injections to soften their look, conversely, volume in the face as well as folds, requires a dermal filler to “re-volumize” the area. This helps to bring back that youthful look to your face. Dermal Fillers are perfect if you:

  • Have the desire to look younger and reduce the signs of ageing
  • Wish to slow down the ageing process
  • Want to create a “new you” that looks younger and more radiant
