Looking After Your Child’s Pierced Ears
Aftercare is vital so that your child’s piercings heal properly. We recommend our two-step Sterilear Piercing Spray system, designed to provide the best healing for your child’s pierced ears.
Step 1: During the first two weeks after piercing, use the Clean Piercing Spray to sterilise the area, 2–3 times per day. Please make sure that you or your child do not twist, turn, or rotate the jewellery or touch the piercing, as this will remove the healing scab and may spread harmful bacteria.
Step 2: For the next two weeks, use the Care Piercing Spray 1-2 times per day to boost healing and provide a bacteria-free environment.
The ear lobes should take approximately 4-6 weeks to heal. It is important not to change the jewellery before this time.
