Services and treatments are not transferable to other salons or individuals.
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation.
If the appointment is cancelled more than 48 hours before the appointment time, you will receive a full refund.
A refund is provided where required in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Certain services may require a deposit, at Essential Beauty’s discretion. If a deposit is obtained and you cancel more than 48 hours before the appointment, you will receive a refund of your deposit, however, if you do not cancel before that 48 hour time frame and you do not attend your booked appointment, you will forfeit your deposit and treatment or service.
If a product purchased in store is faulty or a service is unsatisfactory, it may either be exchanged or refunded, which will be at Essential Beauty’s discretion. There will be no refunds for a change of mind.
Due to hygiene reasons, there will be no refunds of jewellery of any kind, skincare or aftercare products for a change of mind.
Some services or products may not be suitable for you. Essential Beauty staff will exercise all care and skill when providing their service, however, you are responsible for determining whether the service or product is right for you.
Prior to a treatment or service, you are required to disclose, upon request by Essential Beauty staff, any personal factors which may affect your treatment or service, by completing a consent form. This will apply to all new clients and existing clients.
Purchases of Products, Services, Digital Gift Cards Online/Bookings made Online
48 hours’ notice is required for any appointment cancellations which were booked online.
Your treatment may be forfeited if the appointment booked online is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment or you do not attend the appointment.
Products, digital gift cards, services or treatments purchased online are not transferable to other salons or individuals and a not redeemable for cash.
Jewellery sold online is for established piercings only, as online jewellery is not autoclave sterilised and cannot be used for body piercing in salon.
The Australian Consumer Law governs the decisions made by Essential Beauty in regards to refunding a product and/or service.
If a product purchased online is faulty or a service is unsatisfactory, it may either be exchanged or refunded, which will be at Essential Beauty’s discretion.
No refunds are available for change of mind, however, we may use our discretion if we feel that the treatment or product purchased by you was not suitable.
Refund requests for products and/or treatments purchased online must be in writing and issued to: [email protected] within 30 days of the purchase for review and consideration of whether a refund is warranted. Please attach a copy of the receipt and a description of any product fault. If a product is a deemed faulty, a credit will be provided for the online store.
There are no refunds on prepaid treatment packages/series, and they are not transferable to other salons, for alternate services or for a different salon or individuals.
Prepaid treatment packages/series are valid for 12 months.
If you cancel a prepaid treatment less than 48 hours before the appointment time, then you will forfeit the payment and the service in that series. However, if the appointment is re-scheduled, the payment will not be forfeited.
In the event the salon cannot complete a service or services in your prepaid treatment package, we will direct you to an alternative salon to complete that service/s.
