COVID-19 Update

February Victoria COVID-19 Update

Essential Beauty salons will reopen on Thursday the 18th of February 2021. Face masks will be mandatory, but are allowed to be removed for beauty or piercing services when necessary.

From 11.59pm on Friday the 12th of February 2021, Melbourne will go into Stage 4 Lockdown for 5 days. During this time Essential Beauty salons will be closed. We will keep you updated with information via our Instagram, Facebook and our Website. All appointments during the lockdown have been cancelled for you, you can reschedule your appointment by booking online or downloading the Essential Beauty app. Stay safe and well, we look forward to welcoming you back into our salons soon for all of your favourite waxing, piercing and beauty services.

February Western Australia COVID-19 Update

Essential Beauty salons in Perth Metro Area and Peel and South West Regions have reopened and are doing all services. Clients may remove their face mask if  they are having a service that would require them to do so, for example, lip wax, face wax, nose piercing, tongue piercing etc.

All Essential Beauty salons are open and all services are available.

  • All waxing, laser and IPL services are available.
  • All body piercings and children’s ear piercings are available.
  • All brow and lash services are available.
  • Spray tanning is available.
  • All retail products including Dalton Skincare, ASAP Skincare, body jewellery and piercing aftercare are available.
  • Facial treatments and microdermabrasion are available.

Our strict hygiene and safety protocols include

  • Adhering to State Government requirements regarding face masks.
  • We are required to keep records of every client’s full name, phone number, address and email.
  • We ask that you attend your appointment alone, as our salons will have a maximum capacity and social distancing will be enforced.
  • Please stay home if you feel unwell. We have the right to refuse service.
  • Adhere to signage around the salon for social distancing.
  • New gloves used for every service.
  • Strict cleaning and disinfecting procedures of treatment rooms and high touch point areas.
