Men should be cleanly shaven, as this will improve facial results.

When receiving regular facials, you will notice improvements to skin tone, texture and appearance as we clear clogged and congested pores.

A facial will also restore the skin’s acid mantle and pH.

Temporary results will include heightened skin softness and increased circulation of blood to the face with an overall smooth feeling. In addition, facials are relaxing and enjoyable.

No. Your skin needs the benefits a facial will give. Over time, dead skin and makeup builds up and affects proper absorption of your skin care products.

Facials are treatments which involve deep cleansing, exfoliating, extractions and rebalancing of the skin’s pH level.  This is all extremely beneficial to the skin.

Our most popular facial is the deluxe deep cleanse facial which includes:

  • A skin diagnosis
  • Double cleanse
  • Exfoliation with a brush machine (depending on skin type)
  • Using a Vapozone (steam) to open your pores
  • Performing extractions
  • Applying a mask and finishing with a
  • Neck/décolletage massage

Masks are an important part of any skin care routine and facial.

Some masks can be washed off using a warm towel whilst others lift off the skin. There are also masks that can be peeled or rubbed off.

Most masks have a variety of potent ingredients that will give your skin a deeper cleanse that will also moisturise. Other masks are designed to calm and smooth.

A mask will be chosen for you depending on what results you are looking for.

We will undertake a skin diagnosis to determine the best products for your skin type. Thereafter, we can discuss which facial will suit you best.  Our most popular facial is the deluxe deep cleanse facial.

Your skin needs constant attention as dead skin is shed every day which will clog your pores, giving you a dull appearance.

You should aim to have a facial every 2-6 weeks.

To keep your skin looking smooth and fresh for longer, exfoliation and/or a mask treatment is needed once or twice a week depending on your skin type.  You can do this at home with our take home products.

However, we recommend that extractions should only be performed in salon as the skin needs to be properly softened, before removing any clogging or congestion.

Avoid tanning of any kind for 24-48 hours. Also, no exfoliating or masks for 48 hours and no gym, spas or saunas for 12-24 hours.

Facials can, from time to time, cause breakouts especially if you have a lot of extractions.

Be sure to let your therapist know about your expectations of the facial. For example, if you’re in a wedding on the weekend, extractions should not be performed. It’s up to you to let the therapist know for great results.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment. If possible, please arrive with no makeup on. Please turn your phone on silent during the facial so you can truly relax. It’s not only about treating your skin, it’s also about treating your mind.

Please make your therapist aware of any allergies and medications you may be on. This will assist your therapist in determining which products should be used during your facial, for best results.
