FAQs

IPL and laser can definitely not be used over a tattoo. It would definitely damage the tattoo.

Laser treatments offer the latest in effective hair removal.

Laser emits light via a handpiece at a wavelength of 808 nanometres. This light is preferentially absorbed by melanin found in hair follicles. Once the melanin absorbs the Laser light, it converts it to heat. This heat damages the hair without damaging the surrounding skin.

Hair grows in 3 phases known as anagen, catagen and telogen. Laser hair removal only treats hair in the anagen phase, which is when your hair is growing and cells are dividing in your hair follicle. At any point in time, you only have some of your hair in the anagen phase – and the amount varies between people. This is why, to achieve the best results, you need to have your Laser treatments over several sessions with a break between treatments. If you follow this guide, you can achieve 70% to 90% hair reduction. However, there is no hair removal system that can achieve 100% permanent hair removal.
