What is a Lash Lift?

A Lash Lift is essentially a perm for your eyelashes! A Lash Lift simply alters and enhances the shape your natural lashes with a solution that permanently alters your lashes until they fall out. Everyone has different lash lengths that grow in different directions, so we offer different solutions to achieve the perfect look for each client. A Lash Lift is popularly paired with a Lash Tint to achieve thicker and darker-looking lashes, and ultimately, the very best results.

What is the Lash Lift process?

The Lash Lift process typically takes 45-60 minutes. This service begins with a consultation so that your beauty therapist can determine the style you are wanting to achieve, and based on this, they will decide which silicone curling rod is best suited to your lashes. Your eye area will be cleansed before the rod is then placed onto the eyelid; your eyelashes are then curled over the rod with adhesive to help them set. A lifting solution is then applied, moulding the lashes into place before a setting lotion sets the shape.

How long will my Lash Lift last?

The results will vary depending on how quickly your eyelashes grow, but a Lash Lift will typically last six to eight weeks. Your lashes will look the most dramatic during the first four weeks after the treatment.

When can I get my new Lash Lift?

It is important for the health and strength of your eyelashes that you wait until your full lash cycle is over before having another lift. To keep your lashes looking amazing in between appointments, we recommend getting another Lash Tint halfway through the life of your Lash Lift.

How can I prepare for a Lash Lift?

It is best to arrive to your Lash Lift appointment wearing no eye makeup, and that you do not curl your lashes with an eyelash curler on the day. Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment.

Is there any aftercare I should follow after my Lash Lift?

Absolutely! After your Lash Lift you should avoid wearing eye makeup, including mascara for 24-48 hours. You should avoid getting your eyelashes wet for 24-48 hours as this will rinse of the solution and change your results. We also recommend that you void touching and rubbing your eyes for 24-48 hours post-appointment.

For ongoing aftercare, we recommend that you avoid waterproof mascara and any makeup removers or cleansers that contain silicone, parabens, and lactic acids as these can interfere with your new lash shape.
